Children Friendly Yacht Holidays in Turkey

Family yacht holidays are a fantastic way to break from the everyday mold of daily routine life. It’s a great alternative to staying in hotels, going on sightseeing tours and driving to a location to join land excursions.  Rather than going on a trip to join these tours and staying stationary in your hotel accommodation each day, venturing out to sea aboard a luxurious yacht or Turkish gulet can bring the tours and excursions literally to your “doorstep”.  Your floating accommodation is your traveling hotel to wherever your curiosity takes you.  Traveling with children can be tiring but more so, it can also be quite entertaining for both the parents and the young ones!

Each age group has different interests. While the little ones will prefer spending time in the water or on the beach, the older ones might find the historical architectures and other ancient city ruins far more appealing – as it also gives them great content to write about in school.

With family yacht sailing charters, all this can be organized to keep everyone happy and content and not bored. Rather than staying cooped up in a hotel or room, the kids can do as they wish (with supervision), to continuously enjoy their holiday and make it very fulfilling.  During these yacht sailing holidays, both the Mediterranean and the Aegean regions offer a bounteous selection of not only water sports activities; from snorkeling, swimming to jet skiing or water skiing – and much more. In a single day, there are anywhere between 2 to 5 anchorage points, ranging from small villages to vibrant towns to explore on land.  Our young guests can go shopping or visit historical sites and take plenty of photos and videos to show friends back home of where they’ve been – and even share online in their favorite social media site.

When it comes to meal times, eating out in the great outdoors and particularly at sea can increase the appetite with fresh and healthy dishes, desserts and fruits!  After a long and fully satisfying day, they might pack it in early and give the grown-ups time to themselves to enjoy their evening on board in lovely bay or colorful harbor.
