Selimiye Village in the Spotlight : An Idyllic Blue Cruise Destination
During our recent travels around the villages of Marmaris, our route lead us for a visit to the charming little village of Selimiye, located just over a half an hour away from the main harbor of Marmaris, Turkey. To get to Selimiye by car is quick – a mere 40 minute drive. By sea it takes about 6 hours. However either way of transportation will offer a delight of sea views along the way.Scenic paved road in between the villages of Marmaris
The coastal paved road begins from the village of Hisaronu, followed by the town of Orhaniye, then Turgut and finally Selimiye. If you go by sea, the direction of this route is the other way around. Again, either way will prove to be a most pleasant excursion. As a matter of fact, the whole region is excellent for travelers on biking trips as well.Overlooking the village of Selimiye
