Can you do with or without internet access while on your charter yacht holidays?
A personal question it is, but seems to be an important one. With today’s demanding schedules, having to take that time away from your work or business can be difficult. But at one point, a person may really need that time away alone or with family and friends. Responsibilities don’t fade away when you are on vacation.
One way travelers overcome this time restriction and get-a-way from commitments, is having an internet connection during their holidays so that they are able to follow their business and other work tasks, and keep in touch with family. Then there is the matter of social media. With the increasing user-ship, travelers desire to share their holidays online through their social media networks.
However there are individuals who choose not to even come near any internet access. They are usually looking for the ‘real’ get-a-way-from-it-all, even if it is for a week or two. The need to clear their minds of emails, phone calls, and messaging, while someone else at work takes care of things. Then there are those travelers who just don’t bother with the internet all that much, so it’s really not an issue for them.
When it comes to motor yachts, usually most will have wi-fi internet or a USB device to plug into their laptops. On the other hand, gulet charters aren’t guaranteed this service – so if your preference is “yes”, then it’s good to check in advance and find out whether or not some form of internet access will be on board.
