Turkish Gulet Mezcal Goes Across the Atlantic to La Paz Mexico
During the early afternoon hours on December 11, 2012; the popular Turkish gulet charter, Mezcal was prepared to take her first voyage across the Atlantic to La Paz, Mexico. She was strapped up to be lifted on board the 140 meters Maesrk Texas cargo ship. The journey from Marmaris harbor will be taking the Mezcal gulet across the Atlantic to Florida, where she will transfer to another ship for the continued journey to Manzanillo, Mexico. Upon her arrival in Manzanillo, the 6 cabin gulet will set sail along the Pacific coast to her new base port of La Paz, Mexico.
The 28 meter (91.8 feet) gulet sailboat has been offering blue cruises to her guests since 2008 from her former base port of Marmaris, Turkey – a small seaside city in the Mediterranean of Southern Turkey. As of January 15, 2013, the Mezcal gulet charter will be based in the port of La Paz, currently as the only Turkish gulet charter offering yacht cruises along the tropical shores of the Pacific.
Mezcal is from a fleet of currently two. Her sister yacht, the newly built (2012), Mezcal 2, based in Antalya, Turkey, will remain in Turkey and provide luxury Turkish gulet cruises along the shores of the Mediterranean and Aegean to holidaymakers interested in gulet charter holidays.
La Paz offers travelers 45 weeks of yacht charter holidays. The Mezcal has already sold more than half of the year (27 weeks) for her first season in the Pacific to sailing enthusiasts from around the globe. Now, gulet holidays are not only available in the Mediterranean and Aegean. Should your holidays take you to Southern Mexico, rest assured that you can experience a splendid Turkish gulet charter in Mexico.
