The thought of chartering a private gulet may seem out of reach – especially if you don’t really have a group together to split the costs. But hope is not lost. There are smaller gulets with 2 or 3 cabins, which also operate on a daily basis at rather decent prices per day. You can’t go too cheap otherwise you may be sacrificing comfort and overall standards as well.
But certainly hiring a private gulet charter for two is possible.
The average quality ‘mini’ gulet can range in between the region of 500 – 600€ per day and go higher. Any other boat at lower cost won’t really offer the comfort. Mind you if your cabin feels a bit cramped, and considering that the weather is great even at night – you could always sleep on deck and fall asleep watching the stars to later wake up at dawn with the scent of fresh Mediterranean sea air. 🙂
