Be Active. Stay Healthy and Cruise the Blue

Cruising on board a gulet offers an array of things to do other than simply relaxing. If you are physically active at home, go to the gym and can’t miss a day, or a part of exercise classes such as yoga, aerobics, steps, etc.; then, don’t let your private gulet cruise holiday stop you from sticking to your routine – while still enjoying your vacation at sea.

Starting with the basics that most blue cruise travelers do on their holidays are mainly water sports activities. Swimming, snorkeling, diving, jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing, and kayaking are a few of the more active style of sports in the Mediterranean. The not so active but rather adrenaline style of activities could include parasailing, paragliding (specifically the Oludeniz region), and ringo or banana boat tugs. Relaxing activities can include such as fishing either on an amateur or professional scale and sightseeing.

To add a bit more substance to your private gulet holidays, bringing an extra cost into your budget plans – not much – could be to do a few days of hiking bird watching and biking. There are fabulous trails both inland and coastal that allows you to acquire a very exciting perspective to your vacation. It also makes for more to capture in photos and video.

Yoga and meditation gulet cruises are also available. They are generally professionally lead classes twice a day (morning and just before dinner time). Alternatively, you can hire a gulet with your yoga class for a week as well.

All of the above, plus fresh and low-fat Mediterranean cuisine will present you with an active, staying healthy gulet cruise trip for a whole week – or longer if you wish. While in the meantime you can take pleasure in seeing all the treasures of Turkey’s nature, history and culture all-in-one.
