Holidays at sea bring with it an array of choices in things to do and places to see. One of the most frequently wondered subjects is the matter of activities. While some travelers simply prefer to relax and do nothing except enjoy the scenery, cuisine, services and stroll about the visited places; others prefer to be more active.
This is particularly true with families with children and teenagers – since they themselves are quite active. Depending on the gulet or boat charter you choose to charter, there are a variety of on board toys to choose from. Some are limited in what the boats have to offer.
So check to see what is available. Not all gulets have kayaks or ringos, windsurfs, water skis and jet skis, etc. As a matter of fact jet skis are usually found on the VIP yachts and the odd deluxe or ultra deluxe gulet. There are also jet skiing restrictions as it is only permitted in specific regions, as is scuba diving.
What you can expect is water sports providers, operated by other companies from the bays that you may visit during your blue cruise vacation. Choices include water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, paragliding, scuba diving, banana boat rides and the like. So make sure you specify what it is you wish to do to your agent so that it can be arranged before your arrival. Costs vary from one company to the next but generally similar.
Gulets will almost always have snorkeling gear and amateur fishing equipment on board for guests to use during private gulet cruises in the Mediterranean and Aegean.
