Friday, July 7th: the Greek port authorities have a regulation for gulet and boat charters from Turkey. It is not possible start and end boat charters in the Greek islands. Boats must either start in a Turkish port and end at a Greek island or visa versa.
- If you fly into Rhodes, you can take a 1 hour ferry from Rhodes to Marmaris and embark.
- If you fly into Kos, you can take a 45 minute ferry from Kos to Bodrum and then board your boat.
- You can also start in Fethiye or Gocek or Bodrum or Marmaris and end in Rhodes or Kos depending on the boat and its booking schedule.
- Cruising region options would be either the North or South Dodecanese islands or Cyclades (depending on the time of year).
